World Water Day 2012 Celebration Programme |

18.3.2012 We will celebrate the World Water Day (March 18, 012) by a very special all day public programme. Steam engines will be shown running, there shall be held special prolonged tours including raft ride and walking through a sewer. Art workshop and other supplementary programme will be prepared.

The World Water Day is regularly held on 22. March (since 1992). Its purpose is to show the problems connected with water (generally) and water resources management. This event held all around the world is primarily aimed at water resources protection and its importance. The World Water Day comes with some new motto every year. This year it´s gonna be „Water and food safety“.

21.3. – 10.4.2012 Samuel Havadtoy is a famous interior designer also intensely occupied with other forms of artistic creation. He designed homes for many celebrities including John Lennon. He was a friend with artists like Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, George Condo, Donald Beacher and Yoko Ono, with whom Samuel Havadtoy lived after the death of John Lennon and raised Sean Lennon. He is an owner of the renowned Hungarian gallery Gallery 56. In his designs Samuel Havadtoy prefers oil, acrylics and combined techniques. His works reflect subtle nuances of different cultures, mainly American pop culture and central European art. He successfully exhibits his works all around the world.
